Cody Price - Head Coach

A proud Cedar Park High School graduate, Cody brings a unique combination of athletic experience, coaching expertise, and a deep passion for the game of golf. Growing up in Austin, Cody was a standout athlete not only in golf but also in basketball, playing college basketball for a year before fully dedicating himself to golf. His multi-sport background gives him a well-rounded understanding of what it takes to compete at a high level—whether in golf, basketball, or any other sport.

In college, Cody earned All Conference honors 3x and was named MCAC Player of the Year during his freshman year, establishing himself as one of the top competitors in his conference. After college, he pursued a brief professional golf career and worked as a PGA Teaching Professional, where he gained invaluable experience teaching the technical and mental aspects of the game.

Now in his fourth year as a head coach, and first at Cedar Park High School, he is committed to enhancing the rich legacy of Cedar Park Golf. His goal is to build on the program's strong foundation, creating a culture of excellence that pushes athletes to develop not just as golfers, but as competitors who understand the demands of playing at the next level. His coaching philosophy combines technical skill-building, mental toughness, and teamwork, all while instilling discipline and a love for the game.

In addition to his coaching, Cody enjoys playing golf (of course!), competing in Calcutta events, and spending time with his family and kids. His personal experiences—both as an athlete and a coach—allow him to relate to his players and inspire them to reach new heights, on the course and beyond.
