On December 10th, the T Wolves development squad and girls team kicked off their season at Balcones. It was an exciting day, and I am very proud of the players, especially since for half them, this was their very first golf tournament. All the practice on the range and short game area is paying off! Everyone showed remarkable improvement , and it’s exciting to see their hard work translate to the golf course. Let’s keep grinding!!

The Varsity team was back in action at Star Ranch in Hutto. They shot their lowest score of the season at 299! We finished 2nd out of 20 teams, bringing our record to 43-5 as we close out the fall semester. Rafa Escobar led the way with his first Top 5 finish of the season, scoring 72. Other notable performances included Jackson Springer aka "Mr. Consistent" with a 74, Jakob Martin with a personal record of 76, Jack Morris with a 77, and Griffin Jacobs, who scored 78, achieved a personal best, and made his first two eagles of his career!

I'm thrilled to share some fantastic news from our Varsity Boys golf team's recent performances!

On Wednesday, September 25th, our team finished an impressive 3rd out of 14 teams. Junior Jackson Springer led the Timberwolves with a solid score of 77 (school record at Stone Tree) in challenging windy conditions, finishing 10th individually. Team members Rafa Escobar, Griffin Jacobs, and Jacob Martin all carded an 81, while Jack Morris showed great determination with a score of 88.

We keep bringing home the hardwood. We shot 59 in our 4 man scramble and won the tournament by 3 strokes. I had a blast playing with the boys. Shout out to Zachary Ryan, Noah Garcia and Rodrigo Bodek. I may or may not have had to put the team on my back . We also got announced as the drippiest team in Texas!

CPHS Golf joined the rest of the Timberwolf teams & clubs for the annual Meet the Timberwolves night. Players showed their skills on the putting green, helped take lemonade orders and enjoyed the wonderful evening with the T-Wolf family kicking off the new year.
